Behavior-Based
Safety Concept
Behavior based safety (BBS) is a proven safety system that works by identifying, observing, and positively reinforcing behaviors that ensure employees are doing their task safely.
- BBS works to determine the root causes of unsafe behaviors and the best route to improve them.
- BBS also acknowledges that employees often work in less-than-perfect environments and will be forced to make choices between working safely or taking unsafe shortcuts.
Our Multi-Phased Proposal
- Place a Rottweiler representative in your primary office location to begin the discovery phase, this includes providing oversight to current safety employees, initiate an audit of current projects in construction phase to review current practices and requirements in the field.
- Assess the actual current safety culture of your company
- Conduct a full gap analysis of existing policies and procedures and compared to our recommended behavior-based safety program
- Our Gap analysis report will provide a full list of recommended policies and procedures to be modified or developed, recommended training and documentation management requirements
- Develop specific policies, procedures, and required field forms (ex: JSAs, hot work permits, incident reporting and audit observations) for a standard BBS program
- Provide authorized OSHA 10 & 30 training for all employees
- Access existing OSHA 300 Logs and records for the previous 3 years
- As well as safety program documentation provided to ISNetworld
- Rottweiler Safety LLC will continue to develop and maintain a custom designed safety program for your company. This will involve:
- Maintain training records and provide a monthly report of upcoming training requirements for all employees
- Conduct annual review of safety program policies, procedures and forms to ensure our client is current with all Federal, State, and Local guidelines and is 100% compliant with regulations
- Maintain incident forms and investigations and provide a quarterly report summarizing safety performance
- Manage reporting all safety incidents to the proper agencies in a timely manner
